I go back and forth about a front loader... not sure I can handle leaving that door open all the time to make sure the inside doesn't get all smelly.
I will look into the Frigidaire. Literally! Ha!
Our washer/dryer is a Frigidaire and we got it at either Lowe's or Home Depot 9 years ago when we built the cabin. It was not one of the most expensive ones or one of the cheapest ones. It has a full size tub in the washer and I've found a lot of the stackable top loading ones have a teeny tiny capacity. Even the more expensive brands, so be sure to check that out. I don't think the dryer part is the greatest on your clothes but it drys ok. Just seems to not be good about getting wrinkles out. We had a Maytag, not stackable, and the dryer was much kinder to the clothes. That's really the only complaint. It is loud in both the washer and dryer. We have it in our one big room, so it can drive you crazy if you are trying to watch TV! Also on this particular model you can't turn the end of cycle signal off and it will wake the dead! Ha! But I do like the stackable units. They are really the best option for a small space like ours. At some point I would like to upgrade to a better unit. Possibly a Maytag front loader in a dark gray color! I've just downsized from 1800 to 1100 square feet (not as cozy as your place, but someday...)

Anyway, I need to get a stacking W/D. I noticed that you have one. What brand is it? Do you like it? I haven't been able to get much from the reviews online, so I thought I'd check with someone who actually uses theirs...

Thank you!snapdragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10052978249380402838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5996018374520170820.post-83095379581233082172013-03-03T08:49:46.711-07:002013-03-03T08:49:46.711-07:00Thank you, Lois!
